The main war memorial at St. Peter’s Church, Aldborough Hatch, commemorates 19 men who died in the First World War. The memorial is located within the church to the right of the church organ and takes the form of a wooden triptych (a work of art comprised of three panels hinged together).
The glazed, framed centre panel features a painting of a mourning woman dressed in black, standing beneath a plaque inscribed with an epitaph. The names of the fallen, in gold lettering, are listed on the black painted doors on either side: ten on the left hand leaf and nine on the right.
