Biography
Arthur Gibbons served as a Private in the 10th Battalion, the Essex Regiment. Born in Fulham in 1896, he later moved with his family to 216 Uphall Road, Ilford. He died on 22nd April 1916, aged 20 years old. He is buried at the Chipilly Communal Cemetery Extension in France.
