Biography 

Born in 1882 at Forest Gate, the son of Thomas William Talbot (Clerk). 1901: A Clerk in a Varnish Manufacturers, boarding with his Uncle Henry Cresswelll and wife at 18 Alma Road, Mile End. His father had died in 1882, and it is believed his mother was also dead. In 1905 he was living at 149 Bow Common Lane when he married Flora Jane Palmer, and chose Henry Cresswell as a Witness. 1911: A Shorthand Typist for a Gas Lamp Manufacturer, living with his wife and four children at 19 Harcourt Road, West Ham. The family subsequently moved to Woodford Bridge.

He enlisted in London, serving with the Supplies Section of the Army Service Corps, arriving in France on 6th March 1915. He died as a result of sickness at The Duchess of Westminster's Hospital (No.1 B.R.C.S) Le Touquet on 28th May 1915.
