Biography
Percival served as a Rifleman in the 1st Battalion, the Rifle Brigade. He died on 10th May 1915, aged 16 years old. In 1911 Percival was living with his family at Uphall Road, Ilford. His year of birth, according to the 1911 census, was 1899, so he appears to have lied on his army enlistment papers in 1914, when he stated he was 19 years old.
His name is featured on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial in France.
