Biography 

Henry Arnold Beaumont was born in 1897. In 1911, he lived at ‘Dunedin’, Cambridge Park, Wanstead. He was the youngest child of house painter William Beaumont and his wife, Emma. Henry had three brothers and one sister.

Henry enlisted with the Honourable Artillery Company as a Private. He was sent to the Western Front on 14th January 1917 but was killed in action three months later on the 31st March 1917. Henry’s middle brother, Freund, was killed at sea on HMS Laurentic less than two weeks later on 25th January 1917.

Henry was buried in the Honourable Artillery Company Cemetery in Ecoust-St. Mein, France.
