Biography 

Born in 1896 at Worcester, son of George Edwin (Plumber and Gas Fitter) and Catherine Goodwin. 1901: With his family at 1 Cyprus Villa, Bromyard Road, Worcester. 1911: A Staff member at the Alexandra Hotel, New Tredegar, Monmouthshire. He held the rank of Private 2nd Class in the Royal Air Force, with the trade of 3rd Class Aircraft Mechanic.

He was attached to 1 Training Reserve Squadron at RAF Yatesbury which had opened in November 1916 as a base for Pilot Training.

While serving here Harold Goodwin Died on Active Service from Heart Failure.

His connection to the Woodford United Free Church remains unclear.
