Biography
Born in 1897 at Leytonstone, son of Henry Joseph (Inspector at a Tramway Yard) and Emma Maylin. 1901: With his parents at 43 Southwell Grove Road Leytonstone. He was educated at Leytonstone County High School. The family home later became of 72 Prospect Road, Snakes Lane, Woodford Green.
He was Killed in Action on the last day of the Battle of Festubert.
