Biography 

He was born in Essex during 1884. 1901: Aged 16, a Stable Boy boarding with Elizabeth Wood (widow of 66) at Stanford Rivers near Ongar. 1910: Married Emily Martin, daughter of James (labourer with the Metropolitan Water Board) and Frances Martin, living at 1 Reeds Cottages, Woodford Green. In 1901 she and her parents had been living at Chaverley Cottages, Woodford Wells. 1911: Frederick, a 26 year old General Labourer was living with Emily at Malting Cottages, Moreton near Ongar.

He enlisted at Warley, and Died on Active Service, probably in one of the Casualty Clearing Stations located at Lijssenthoek in Belgium. Emily was later living at Belmont House, High Street, Sandgate in Kent.
