Biography 

Frederick Charles Fleming was born in 1897 to general labourer George and his wife, Delilah. Frederick was one of six children. The family lived at 9 Norfolk Street, West Ham in 1901, but by 1911 they had moved to 2 Radley Lane in Woodford.

Frederick enlisted in the army and became a Private in the 3rd Battalion, the Essex Regiment. He died in England on 4th January 1917and was buried in Felixstowe Cemetery.
