Biography
Alfred was born in 1893 at Woodford, third son of Thomas Henry (Undertakers Manager and Coffin Maker) and Annie Martha Ewens. In 1911 he is a Pawnbrokers Assistant, living with his family at 5 Waltham Terrace, Woodford Bridge (same address as 1901). His father was the Manager for T Osborne & Sons Undertakers of Woodford Bridge.
Alfred was a member of the Merchant Navy with war service in East Africa during 1916-1918. He died at 5 Waltham Terrace in 1919, but the details surrounding his death are unclear.
