The Woodford Bridge Roll of Honour commemorates 297 men of the ‘Parish of Woodford Bridge and District’ who served in the First World War. The memorial takes the form of a large marble tablet set within a wooden frame and is located outside on the wall of the Village Rest Café, 663 Chigwell Road, Woodford Bridge. The symbol of a cross appears next to the names of those who died.
The memorial was originally erected in September 1918 but subsequently replaced in 1993, thanks to donations made by the public to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the end of the First World War.
