A roll of honour mounted within a wooden frame at St. Gabriel’s Church, Aldersbrook, commemorates the parishioners who served in the First World War. The roll was decorated by hand and the names handwritten. It features coloured flags of the Allied Forces within a decorative border. An illustration of an architrave supported by two columns contains the names of the 39 servicemen who died.
