Reginald Alfred Needham is commemorated on a marble tablet in St. Gabriel’s Church, Park Road, Aldersbrook. The white tablet, set within a grey marble frame, records Reginald’s regiment and date of death along with a Latin epitaph: Deus est qui reget Omnia, which translates as: ‘God is the King of All’.

The inscription indicates that Reginald died of wounds near Calais.
