A Book of Remembrance bears the names of 10 men of the Ilford Scottish Association who died during the First World War. It also bears the names of 87 men who served and returned after the First World War. It is now part of the Ilford Scottish Association collection held by Redbridge Museum & Heritage Centre.

The Ilford Scottish Association was a social club for the Scottish community living in Ilford in the twentieth century. It was founded in 1902 by seven Scotsmen who ‘suggested that Scots in the district should consider forming an association’.
