Biography 

Osbourne Montague Edwards was born in 1886. His parents Edward and Alice Edwards had eight other children and Edward was a manager to a building merchant. During the 1911 census, Osbourne was living at 162 Romford Road, Forest Gate, Essex, with his family. He was 25 years old and working as a timber salesman.

Osbourne joined the Machine Gun Corps and became a Lieutenant. He was killed in action on the 25th August 1918, aged 33 years old. His name is feature on Bucquoy Communal Cemetery in France.
